Following her Law Degree, Faye went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Bloomsbury. Faye then joined a Kent law firm in 2014 as a paralegal before commencing her Training Contract in 2016 and qualifying in 2018. Faye works as a solicitor in the Employment Department and provides specialist advice and guidance to both employers and employees in the following areas; drafting, reviewing and negotiating settlement agreements and severance packages; managing day-to-day employment issues such as disciplinary, ill-health, capability, redundancy and grievance procedures; advising on dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing claims including representation in proceedings in the Employment Tribunal; advising on changes to terms and conditions of employment and breach of contract disputes; advising on post-termination restrictions; and drafting, reviewing and advising on employment contracts, consultancy agreements, company policies and procedures. Described as sympathetic and understanding, client service is of utmost importance to Faye and she strives to deal with client issues promptly in an effort to alleviate the concerns that her clients have during what can be a difficult time for them.     Settlement Agreement Support

    CWJ were excellent in helping me navigate through an employment settlement agreement. Everything was smooth from the start, from ease of getting in touch with the team to organising the phone consultation, to regular check-ins throughout the process to ensure I felt informed and taken care of. My case was relatively straight forward but Faye took the time to answer my questions and was accomodating of my schedule, particularly given the time constraints during holiday season.
