I recently used Howells Solicitors at Rotherham to deal with all the legal matters when selling one house and buying another. My solicitor was Tina Staves and I cannot recommend her too highly, she was excellent in every way. She deals with every detail quickly but thoroughly, leaving nothing to chance. She is really friendly and pleasant to deal with and is very efficient. She is excellent at her job. I have dealt with many solicitors over the years and Tina was the best by far. I would recommend her to everyone if they want a good job completed without fuss. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. Her assistant Jessica Carnell was also really good, very friendly and helpful.

Great conveyancing service.
Great conveyancing service from Tina Staves and Jessica Carnell when dealing with my mums house sale/purchase.
They both went over and above their normal service after the house sale fell through to enable my mum to move into her new property. Would definitely use their services again.

House Purchase
I had originally selected Howells to deal with my conveyancing requirements based on competitive pricing structure and convenience and locality of the branch, and I'm so glad that I did! Tina was allocated to my case and was no less than outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. Communication was excellent from the start with everything explained to me. Any queries I had were answered promptly and I felt fully informed and re-assured throughout the whole process, which ran smoothly and in line with my expectations. A special and well deserved mention also goes to Jessica who worked with Tina, for her warm friendly approach and quality of communications. These two nail customer care! Buying a house can be stressful but I was in safe hands and it was a pleasure doing business. I would have no hesitation in working with Tina and Jessica again and would highly recommend. A big thank you to both of them - from one very happy customer!

A fairly painless purchase
Tina only works part time, but has an able assistant in Jessica. We were told the process would take 8 to 12 weeks, and it took 10. It would have been quicker but for the Xmas break and the fact that the sellers solicitors (based in Lincoln) were difficult to contact.
Had to correct the bill she produced, but it was swiftly corrected and came with an apology!
Overall we were pleased with the way the purchase was handled.
We are now allowing Howells to deal with the sale of our own property.

Purchase of house
Tina was very professional as was her colleague Jessica, any problems I had were dealt with quickly and things explained clearly to me as a first time buyer would highly recommend Tina to anyone looking to buy a house.
I wouldn't recommend having to deal with one of the receptionists as she was very rude, I was made to feel like I had no right been in there even though I was paying for a service like everyone else.

Brilliant
Tina has been amazing through the entire purchase of my first home.
She has kept me regularly updated. She has been patient and understanding.
Could not have asked for anything more.
Had to pop to the office a few times to drop off documents. All the team I encountered were lovely. Warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

House conveyance
Having said that I would never approach a different solicitor if I needed one after a previous unrelated issue, having received a first class service, I am happy to reaffirm that statement.
During the sale conveyance of my father's house Tina and Jessica were outstanding. If I called Jessica with an issue she was nearly always available to speak and when she wasn't she would always call me back, even if I hadn't left a message.
If there was a legal inquiry Tina was always happy to discuss and explain this and if she wasn't available she would always call me after receiving my request.
Add to this the extremely helpful front of house staff at the Sheffield office, I have no reservations in recommending Howells for any legal assistance required.

Efficient
I employed Howell’s for a sale and purchase. I was very impressed with the service. I was kept up to date during the process and on the day of the sale Tina did her best to get everything done as quickly as possible despite some delays that were out of our control

Conveyancing - Sale of Property
Tina dealt with the sale of my home. The sale went through very smoothly and efficiently all thanks to Tina. She was prompt in dealing with any questions I had and kept me up to date on a weekly basis as to how the sale was progressing. I will soon be buying a new home and will definitely instruct Tina to deal with this for me.
