Having moved to the UK from Canada in 1996, Julie completed her final years of school before heading off to Exeter College and completing a college course in Administration and Secretarial Procedures. Julie started her legal career in 2003 as a Conveyancing Assistant at Ashfords Solicitors before joining AmicusLaw in October 2019. Due to Julie’s vast experience she is able to undertake all aspects of Residential Conveyancing. Julie lives in Exeter with her husband and two young boys and are all huge supporters of Liverpool FC. Outside of work, her hobbies include walking, swimming and taking her young boys to football games (when, of course, they are not enjoying family days out adventuring!).

Excellent conveyancing experience

My experience with Amicus Law was excellent throughout. Despite being incredibly busy, Julie, Marie and JoJo were on top of my case and proactive in chasing the other side. Any questions I had were answered very quickly. When my solicitor wasn’t available, I was made aware well ahead of time and another solicitor was well informed. It was great to have direct contact with my solicitor. Everyone I spoke to at Amicus Law was extremely helpful and friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this firm. Many thanks again.

Julie Huxley has been exceptional in dealing with the sale of my property, I don’t really have adequate words of praise how much I have valued her help, she has been clear, patient, informative and kept me updated on the process throughout which was very much appreciated, she was also a steady presence in the background on my purchase side which got a bit bumpy and challenging, just knowing she was there made things less stressful, so Julie has been a dream to work with, I can wholeheartedly recommend her and definitely will be seeking her assistance if I was to sell my property again

We have recently dealt with Amicus Law for our property sale and purchase. This was a long-winded and complicated process due to a number of factors, but we have been very pleased with the service received.
