I don’t think I will ever truly be able to put into words what Lynne’s support has meant to me. She came into my life during one of the most frightening, stressful and emotionally exhausting times I have ever experienced, and from the very beginning I felt that she genuinely listened to me, understood me and cared about what I was going through. There were so many times when I was scared, overwhelmed and beside myself with worry. Lynne never dismissed those fears or made me feel like they didn’t matter. She listened, reassured me and always made sure I understood my options. At a time when I desperately needed someone to believe in me and what I was fighting for, I felt completely heard and supported. I had previous experience with another solicitor at another firm, and the difference was honestly night and day. With Lynne, I never felt like I was simply another case or another name on a file. When court eventually became my last resort, Lynne carefully talked me through the process, prepared me for what was ahead, and we took it one step at a time together. She never made light of what I was going through. Sometimes I just needed to talk through the little worries and niggles going around in my head, and she always found the time to get back to me promptly. That meant more to me than she probably realised. Jan was also an incredible support throughout. She showed the same compassion and professionalism as Lynne and they worked exceptionally well together ensuring I was kept informed in real time and supported at the drop of a hat if I needed it. I am incredibly grateful to her too. Having Lynne beside me made an unbearable situation less lonely. It can be difficult to believe anyone really understands what you have been through and continue to post separation but Lynne did. Without her, I genuinely don’t know how I would have found the strength or courage to keep going and keep fighting for the justice and protection my family needed. The case eventually concluded with the outcome we had hoped for. After everything it took to get there, that is something I will never take for granted. Looking back at where I started, how frightened and overwhelmed I was, and everything it took to reach that point is incredibly emotional. I will never be able to thank Lynne enough for what she has done for me and my family. Her compassion, professionalism, honesty and dedication made an incredibly painful experience bearable. I truly could not have done this without her, and I will always be grateful that she was the person in my corner throughout it all.
