Jackie Hand & Machins were excellent, recommended by our estate agent (Oliver & Akers) for good reason. The only minor negative was that we felt we could have had more email/text updates during the process as the buyer solicitors were not very good and dragged the process out. We and the buyers were both chain free, so this should have been relatively quick and straightforward process.

Jackie Hand was fantastic throughout the whole process of us selling and buying a house. She was professional, available and incredibly efficient. She always picked up the phone to us, guided us through a tricky exchange process and always made sure to be on top of everything. I cannot recommend her enough, having a local solicitor was well worth the fees and was by far more efficient than using an online service (we encountered these in our moving chain and they are just awful!) - Jackie genuinely cared for us as her clients and looked after us every step of the way. We are incredibly grateful to her for all of her hard work!

Jackie at Machins was my solicitor for my house move recently. She was absolutely fantastic. From the beginning I just felt I could relax as she had everything in hand. She was so on top of things from the get go and had a very friendly, human style when talking things through on the phone. She made things understandable and was very patient with questions.
