    Severence of Joint Tenancy

    I have nothing but praise for the people at Stephen Rimmer. I have dealt with quite a few departments over the past three years for different reasons, but each person has been helpful, compassionate and professional in their dealings with me. Sometimes things cannot be resolved, but knowing that everything possible has been done in order to find a resolution is always reassuring.. I would recommend Stephen Rimmer to anyone who wants a company that listens, takes everything you say on board and then proceeds to do everything they can to help and guide you through the process...     Shocking experience

    Do not expect professionalism if you are working with this company. The handling of our probate case was shocking. In general it was very difficult to communicate with the person responsible and we had to wait weeks to get an answer to our questions. The company failed to contact the authorities and utilities in time if at all. We were provided with false information throughout the process and we even had to find out that we were lied to about the progress. In the end the company was not even able to pay the inheritance tax in time. In the meantime they earned interest on our money on their account. We had to beg for transparency about the estate and our money. Unfortunately we only found out about the company‘s omissions when we contacted the authorities ourselves. After all one gets the impression that this chaotic procedure and concealment is done on purpose. You could argue this should be a case for the complaints officer, but don’t expect an answer…
