Very difficult as had mixed experience. I would have liked direct contact with the solicitor in the beginning of the transaction.. I felt quite unimportant as a client.. she was an invisible entity but her assistant was really helpful.. and then solicitor helped too. I feel special mention must be made of the Accounts gentleman in Glastonbury who went above and beyond the call of duty to help me out with bank issues. He, LITERALLY, stopped me from falling apart. Thank you.

I dont even know where to start about how wonderful this company is! People always blame the solicitors whn things go wrong with home purchases, but considering the trials we have faced with not 1 but 2 different (almost) purchases in the last 6 months!! With the most recent (and successful) purchase i think we put the offer in at the end of October and we have now exchanged and complete Friday 1st December- super quick and efficient! Hollie is a dream of a solicitor!! And Jackie and Jade have been amazing as well! Even though i had a million ridiculous questions nothing was ever too much! 100% recommend this solictor firm for house purchases!

As a single, first time buyer I was nervous and apprehensive towards buying my first house. I cannot fault my solicitor Hollie Burns. She was absolutely brilliant and went above and beyond to make this experience very easy. Any questions or queries I had about any part of the process Hollie was able to answer them. I have since recommended her to many of my friends who have said exactly the same. If I need a solicitor again I know exactly who I’ll be going with. Thank you for everything Hollie!

I would recommend their conveyancing services. I have used Hollie Bailey and her team Grant and Jackie for two purchases now. Both of which have had very tight schedules to achieve. Both of which have been achieved. The team work efficiently and effectively even with problematic purchases and I have been impressed with their service. I will be using them again for a 3rd transaction shortly. There were a couple of minor technical & admin issues due to the circumstances of the sale/purchase which were incredibly quickly rectified and finalised with no issue. Over all a very effective and positive service, process and team who have always delivered on my stringent timeline and their commitments.

We used Gould and Swayne for our house sale and new purchase over Christmas 2020. I cannot rate them high enough. Through the exceptional circumstances of lockdown, they were helpful, friendly, professional and always seemed to be one step ahead of the other solicitors in the chain. Every time I called them I spoke to someone in the team and would always get a call straight back from my specific handler as soon as they could. Hollie Bailey and Grant Elbourn were amazing, no question was stupid and were always happy to help. They explained in terms you could always understand and were never pushy if there were choices to make, just informative and gave guidance. They were not the cheapest quote, as you get what you pay for, but the final bill had no surprises and was still very reasonable! Would 100% recommend. They are local firm and we could go to our local branch in Paulton to drop of docs or have paperwork witnessed even though the solicitors dealing with the case were actually based from the Street office. A very smooth house move. 👍
