Solicitor

I first started University on a completely different career path studying medicine. Whilst I enjoyed my studies and the incredible friends made along the way, it soon became apparent that my interests and skills lay elsewhere and I started my journey to become a solicitor. In the space of a few short weeks, I had left my original degree, moved to a new city and was starting fresh. This was an enormous decision but it was immediately clear I had made the right choice. I studied my undergraduate LLB at the University of Abertay, Dundee, where I gained insight and experience in to the world of law. The Covid-19 pandemic put the normal university experience to a halt and moved learning online for my final year. I later moved back to the west coast to complete my postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow. It was during this time that I joined the Firm as a part-time Legal Assistant. Once I had finished my studies, I began working full-time at the firm and having experienced the amazing work environment, I was thrilled at the opportunity to undertake my traineeship with Clarity.
