As a first-time buyer using overseas funds, I had a great experience with Watermans — clear communication throughout, everything ran smoothly, and everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Caron was my conveyancer; she handled all the documentation, got the missives concluded, and got me the keys. She is professional, efficient, and trustworthy — every email was answered quickly, and without her the process wouldn’t have been so smooth. Thanks also to Lynsey, who helped me secure the property, and Caitlin, who handled my AML checks. Watermans is a good choice for buyers using overseas funds — they typically complete sales within 4-6 weeks. In my case, some unexpected issues came up with my funds and the flat, so it took 8 weeks to complete, but the team handled it well throughout.
