I am so grateful for Team Gent at Levi’s, and the thorough and professional service they provided us.
Things were ticking along nicely, when our agent advised us that we suddenly only had three weeks to complete on our sale and purchase due to a mortgage offer expiring higher up the chain. James and Stephanie sprung into action and went above and beyond to meet this new deadline, dealing with difficult 3rd parties (including management companies and redemption of HTB equity loan), keeping us updated with really prompt and clear communication throughout.
This is the first time we have been through both the sale and purchase process, and found it extremely stressful at times. You hear horror stories about rubbish solicitors but Team Gent @ Levi’s were nothing like this and I cannot thank them enough. If you are lucky enough to have Team Gent managing your case, you are in good hands!

Very grateful for James Gent and Stephanie Crowther! 5 stars!
Very impressed by the service provided by James and Stephanie. Due to difficult third parties, at times we thought our move may not happen. Team Gent did everything possible to make sure it did, and I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism and determination ensuring we (and the rest of our chain) hit the completion date.
We received regular updates throughout the process and were able to speak to James and Stephanie whenever needed. They explained things in a way that we could understand and were always happy to go over things if there was anything we were unsure of.
Really please Team Gent were our solicitors for our sale & purchase, and would highly recommend them.

Not quite what I expected
I was recommended by our estate agents to use levi but have to say not that impressed from the start. Wrong information sent portal not working. Endless times of sending the same forms to be signed again and again. If it wasn't for my move manager Lesley Alexander keeping my updated I'm sure I wouldn't have known anything. I always had to chase for updates with the office.

Seemed disorganised
I felt they were somewhat disorganised. I continually asked if they needed any further documents to which they replied no, only a week later to ask for more and told these were standard requirements like copies of passports etc. which delayed the process by a week or more each time.
surely they could have requested all standard documents at the very beginning to eliminate any delays.

Would recommend for overall
The app was efficient and worked well but I was frustrated when I needed clarification on questions as I was treated like it was common sense. It was at this time that I felt like a number and it was hard to speak to people on the phone as they preferred email. It would’ve been good if they understood how stressful it is when you’re a first time seller, worried about getting something wrong. It was also frustrating that I had to resend documents I’d already attached to the app.
After this process things improved. James was pleasant to deal with, as was Stephanie who answered queries promptly.
Levi’s had to create two documents for me. Both had grammatical mistakes which didn’t fill me with confidence but were quickly resolved.
I would still recommend as they were professional and efficient and pushed my buyer’s solicitors, keeping me informed of progress. They just need to think about the human touch for nervous people who are put off by jargon.
