Associate Solicitor

Tanya is an Associate Solicitor within the Fatal and Serious Injury team. She specialises in cases where life-changing injuries have been sustained. She has a record of winning maximum compensation for clients while focusing on making the process compassionate, simple and straightforward. Tanya is also a Law Society of Scotland accredited trauma-informed solicitor. Tanya deals with claims including road traffic accidents, accidents at work, accidents in public and private places, chronic pain and historic child abuse cases. She has acted for numerous families following the death of a loved one, and for the critically injured, making sure they have access to the correct medical care and financial protection for the future. Tanya regularly instructs counsel at the Court of Session and appears at the Personal Injury and Sheriff courts. Tanya is also a Notary Public, which means she has the ability to take sworn statements. She is a key part of the successful team which led to Jones Whyte winning both the Scottish Legal Awards and Law Awards of Scotland ‘Firm of the Year’ in 2021 and to its continuing success as one of Scotland’s fastest growing law firms.
