With over 17 years experience in the legal real estate sector I have accrued a wealth of specialist knowledge and experience in a broad range of transactions. I have acted for a variety of clients including private individuals, owner managed businesses, pension trusts and commercial lenders. With clients ranging across various sectors including leisure and retail, logistics, childcare, healthcare, charities, industrial landlords and tenants, residential and mixed use developers. By taking time to understand clients, their businesses and what successes, challenges and risks they face, I bring together the legal and commercial elements of a transaction and work as a valuable member of clients’ professional team. My sensible, commercial, ‘can-do’ attitude means I thrive on tight deadlines and overcoming tricky property related problems and work tirelessly to ensure matters proceed smoothly and achieve the best outcome for my clients. Following several years in large regional law firms predominantly based in Birmingham, in recent years I have built a strong reputation in the Black Country legal and professional real estate community as being approachable, commercial and able to provide complex, technical legal advice in a clear and efficient manner. I adapt to suit clients’ particular needs and circumstances and remain calm under pressure. I am happy to assist with acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold property, leases and associated documents (for both landlords and tenants), secured lending, developments and all legal matters arising from the management of real estate portfolios.
