Nicola advises on a wide variety of transactions ranging from the acquisition, disposal and lease of commercial premises and development land; regularly dealing with offices, industrial estates, leisure and retail premises and mixed-use premises. Nicola is experienced in negotiating various forms of sale contracts, in respect of both freehold and leasehold land, including for example conditional contracts. She also regularly advises on refinancing portfolios, bridging loans and buy-to-let projects. Nicola also acts on a range of landlord and tenant transactions, drafting and negotiating leases and supplementary documentation such as rent deposit deeds, licences to alter and licences to assign in addition to granting and surrendering leases and lease assignments.
