Since re-joining Blanchards Bailey in 2020, I have been working in the Private Client team in the firm's Poundbury office . I qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2017, but have worked in Private Client for 18 years in various guises. I specialise in Wills, Powers of Attorney, Estate Planning and Deputyship Applications. I also have a keen interest in Elderly Client work. This depth of experience ensures I can advise on complex Will and Estate Planning matters, including advising clients on how best to mitigate their Inheritance Tax liability. I pride myself on being friendly and approachable, whilst helping my clients to navigate their way through complex legal issues to achieve their goals as quickly as possible. I am incredibly client focussed and my priority is ensuring my clients feel at ease from the first meeting through to the conclusion of their matter.

Over 50 years dealing with Blanchards Bailey
It was in 1975 when I first used the services of Blanchards (as it was then) for the conveyancing of a property to purchase having moved my Mother to the Blandford area. The help from Mr John Blanchard and his secretary Mrs Kathie Underwood was superb. In 1990, when my Mother died whilst I was working overseas, Blanchards organised the necessary POA, funeral arrangements and subsequent Probate. Recently, Blanchards Bailey have refreshed my POA’s and Will - and that of my late wife - as well as attending to my wife’s estate and Probate. They have also set up several trusts relating to my estate. I have appointed them Executors.

Pleasant and helpful
Lauren May was able to see me in Weymouth at a convenient location and took great trouble with my Will and Power of Attorney. I found her very approachable and helpful. I would certainly recommend Blanchards Bailey.
