The defendant in this case was a preacher who ran a book stall in London and was accused of training individuals responsible for the London bombings. Aside from terrorism cases, Smiah has worked on other serious cases including R v AK 2009 where the defendant was accused of the murder of his wife and there were issues of domestic violence and mistreatment of the children by the stepmother. Smiah has many years experience in criminal defence work and regularly attends the Magistrates Court and represents clients at Police stations, always achieving the best possible results.
