It is not easy to undergo a trial as the defendant, let alone when the accusation against you is very serious, as was the one against me. As I was not familiar with the world of law or the court system, I was utterly confused on being arrested and I was in serious need of clarification. Unfortunately my duty solicitor was unable to speak to me or explain matters to the extent that they may have liked to, owing to time limitations imposed by their high work volume. Luckily, because of all this, I came to Iram.
