Fergus Harrington made himself available to represent me at very short notice, for which I could not be more grateful. Having been arrested, as it turned out unfairly, Fergus was reassuring, kind and totally professional. From my first meeting with Fergus I felt a great sense of relief, his judgement of my situation was spot on and his dealings with the police were highly professional, fair and ultimately gained the result that we had all hoped for. In my case, I had little understanding of the legal system and Fergus went to great trouble to keep me well informed, not just of the progress of my case but of all the possible different outcomes. As it turned out and to a great part due to Fergus’s reasonable and patient attitude towards the investigating police officer, I eventually had the case against me dropped and a letter of apology from the police which went a long way to healing the sense of injustice that I had originally felt.
