At what was one of the most stressful times in mine and my wifes lives , Philip Trotter was so professional and knew what he was doing from start to finish. I was looking at losing not only my driving license but my home and possibly my marriage. I was in danger of losing my licence for an accumulation of points. From my very first contact, I found the staff at Hammond Trotter Solicitors to be very knowledgeable and very understanding. They were very clear, up front about the costs and the process involved. After my initial call, I was happy to engage the firm to represent me at my hearing. Initially I had a 30 minute consultation with Philip, which actually overan to 50 minutes. Philip was very helpful in getting me to understand the process and what to expect. Then a day or so later I had a call with a lovely lady called Laura. The call was over 1.5hrs but at no point did I ever feel rushed or that I was a bother to her. The object was to collect all of the information that Philip would need to represent me. Laura was so very professional, supportive and helpful. She made me feel so much less anxious and I was really pleased with the way she dealt with me. Excellence at its very best. Thank you Laura. On the day, at court, I met Philip an hour or so before my hearing. I can only describe Philip as brilliant. He was a calming influence and by the time we went into court, I felt really confident that we couldn't have been any more well prepared. In the hearing, again Philip was brilliant. Guiding me through the evidence we had prepared in a logical and effective way. Our plea for 'Exceptional Hardship' was accepted by the court and I didn't lose my licence. All I can say is a massive thank you to Laura and Philip. It wasn't a cheap process, but they earned their coin. I would highly recommend Hammond Trotter solicitors if you have any motoring offences that you need help with. Simply brilliant in my humble opinion, not just because we were successful but also because their approach and help reduced my levels of anxiety tenfold.

I was recommended to engage the services of Hammond Trotter by another solicitor who said they would assist me best. My case was quite serious and I feared for the worst outcome. Philip was very professional, easy to speak with and used his experience to allay my fears.
