I applied to Higgs LLP because I wanted to be a part of a law firm that has long standing client relationships working with local businesses and local people. I really liked the fact that Higgs is a one stop shop, meaning that you are always working with other departments and have a real variety of work. It appealed to me that as part of your training contract you can get experience in a wide range of areas in both personal and business services. Finally, it was hard to miss the work that Higgs does for the local community and various charities and it was something that I wished to get involved in.

Higgs have assisted our family in the past and we have always been impressed so they were the natural choice on this occasion. Jodie has been particularly impressive. She has guided me through a difficult process with calm, efficient professionalism, with excellent judgment throughout. She has listened to and respected my wishes but also offered advice and caution where appropriate. I believe that listening to, and taking, Jodie’s advice ultimately led to the successful conclusion that was reached. Divorce Review

My experience with Higgs LLP was very professional at all times and they have a very good knowledge of the process, they were very conscious on going through the divorce proceedings and very understanding when times are difficult between the parties. Jodie was very understanding even when I was having a 'moment' and always explained things so I was able to understand them (Solicitors use big words that I don't understand!) The only grumble I would have is the overall cost as this was excessive, however I did not help this by my own doings delaying the process, I'm sure if I had sat down before and thought everything through I would of saved costs in the long run. However I am would highly recommend Phil and Jodie for any 'family' issues in the future as they were polite professional and helpful when required.
