Unfortunately, out of the blue I found myself in a desperate, and what I thought was looking to be a massive life changing situation financially for me. I approached Slee Blackwell as I had used them years before in the seamless purchase of a property, and their service was excellent. From the receptionist putting my call through to Paula (Emma's secretary) I received a preliminary call back from Emma within 20mins. After explaining the situation briefly, Emma kindly arranged a site visit to my offices within days to establish the true facts of the situation, and after 30minutes, I really couldn't believe the weight she took from my shoulders. I have to say , her professionalism, knowledge, understanding and kindness were outstanding, I would say beyond the call of duty, it was at that point I asked her to please handle proceedings! Throughout the case, this lady can bury the opposition with her retort of wording in correspondence ! I felt blessed and relieved she was on my side. I could write for 100 pages how literally she held my hand to an extraordinary outcome in my favour, that on day one, I couldn't see through the trees. Emma Slade is the most remarkable solicitor I have ever been on side with along with her fabulous secretary Paula. I hope an occasion never arises again, but little does she know , I have her on speed dial, just in case. As a local business owner, I would like to remain anonymous for obvious reasons, but hope Emma reads this and will know exactly who I am, and how eternally grateful I am for all her skills and professionalism.

I would thoroughly recommend her and following a successful outcome after a long and arduous claim she did not falter once. We worked with Emma Slade at Slee Blackwell for nearly three years on a professional negligence claim. It was a long, complex, and at times emotionally exhausting process, but Emma’s professionalism and commitment never wavered. From the outset, Emma understood the merits of our case. Myself and my wife were uncertain if we would be able to take legal action against a third party following a highly stressful disruption to our lives as a result of massive damage caused to our property by said third party We contacted Blackwell Solicitors after having done some research online and within 24 hours we received a full and detailed response to our inquiry from Emma which was honest, informative and extremely useful. She also suggested a possible way forward which was very helpful. Assuming the service and advice we received from Emma (which was F.O.C by the way) is typical of the firm as a whole (and I have no reason to think it is not) I would certainly recommend Blackwell solicitors
