Lauren
After the loss of my beloved partner John in January 2025 I was unsure if I would need professional assistance in carrying out my Executor duties. I arranged an initial meeting in February 2025 with Jake Coy of Banner Jones Solicitors and here I was introduced to Lauren Smith who was also in attendance. During discussions it was agreed that I was capable of sorting much of the necessary dealings myself. However, I felt more comfortable having the professionals act for me with regards to applying and obtaining the probate, and applying to Land Registry for the assent of John's property which has to be transferred to his son. Going forward from this meeting Lauren would be taking on and dealing with my case. I immediately felt reassured that I would be in good hands. Her manner although professional, seemed personal with her warmth and empathy. She explained all the costs, timescales and processes involved. The "Terms and Conditions" were received in the post soon after and once i had agreed and signed them, Lauren began her work for me. She was always happy to answer any questions or queries i put her way and even offered suggestions to make m own dealings smoother, easier. She kept me fully informed from beginning to end and made my journey along this sad, necessary road less traumatic then I had originally anticipated it to be. I truly appreciate Lauren's involvement and help and would have no hesitation in recommending her services.
