Melanie is based in our Newcastle office and has been with the firm for more than a decade. She obtained her law degree at Newcastle University and completed her Legal Practice Course at Northumbria University in 2004. She completed her training at a local North East Firm and, after a short time in Yorkshire, joined Sweeney Miller in 2007. Melanie deals with all aspects of residential conveyancing and has extensive experience of complex transactions including leasehold, shared ownership and new-build matters including the various Help to Buy Government schemes. She has also dealt extensively with Wills, Trusts and Probate matters although she is now focussed solely on residential conveyancing. She has developed a particular specialism in shared ownership and shared equity leases, which can often be quite complex and time-consuming. As someone with many years of sound conveyancing and Private Client experience, she is an indispensable resource within the Firm.     A very nice experience

    It was my first experience with a solicitors. I had heard horror stories about it, and even the ones that weren't negative were expressing a lot of stress, but my experience using Sweeney Miller was totally stress-free. It was a pleasure to deal with Sweeney Miller.
