Truly Heartbreaking.
My father passed away four years ago. Not only was he my father,he was my best friend,He truly was open, honest and trustworthy. He put all his financial affairs in good order and unfortunately chose Fraser Dawbarns. There was a long delay, which when I requested an explanation,Bev Chase stated that the bank and building society were renowned for dragging their heels. I discovered this to be untrue.Ms Chase had in fact sent the incorrect paperwork twice. I was then told there had been no problem and no delay. There were other failings causing me to contact the SRA and the ombudsman. I would not dream of treating anyone the way I was treated. On contacting David Osborne detailing the firm's failings and the detrimental impact on my mental health. He dismissed my complaint, stating there was no evidence. I was then told not to contact the firm. The whole shocking episode has had a huge detrimental effect on my mental health, To mislead someone at their most vulnerable is wrong. To claim to be honest, open and trustworthy is wrong. You don't have to be legally trained to know that.
