Property purchase July 2025
You hear horror stories about how stressful buying a house can be, and that in the hands of the wrong solicitor, there can be horrendous delays and complications. However, I'm happy to say that Carmen at Elliot Mather - and her colleagues - was absolutely the solicitor you want on the case! Efficient and competent throughout, sorting things out speedily, with the result that completion took place less than 3 months after offer was accepted. A very positive experience throughout.

I didnt have to chase them that much - they were pretty proactive in keeping me updated.
I was unhappy that I was promised a reduction in price when I was represented for the 2nd time - but only realised very late that the reduction was time sensitive ( a very short time indeed - and my view was that it was a marketing stance they had employed when they knew that noone would ever finish a purchase in such a short time).

Great service provided by Carmen
Carmen has been very helpful from the beginning of the transaction. She has always been proactive, approachable and responsive, answering all my questions and accommodating all my requests.
