Born in Yorkshire, but raised in Cambridgeshire, he first moved to Devon to study at the University of Exeter in 2011. He read History before obtaining a second undergraduate degree in LLB (Hons) (Graduate) Law, graduating in 2016. Matt spent a year in London studying for the LPC at University of Law Moorgate, graduating with an LPC MSc in Law, Business and Management. Following this he trained with a top 100 UK firm based in Devon and was admitted to the roll of solicitors in January 2021. Here he worked for a year in Trusts and Estates as an NQ (Newly Qualified) Solicitor. Matt currently works within Wollens Estate Administration Team and Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning Team, and so can assist with a wide range of Private Client related matters. I work with clients both across and outside of Devon and is based at both Wollens Exeter and South Devon offices. He enjoys engaging with and supporting his clients through what can be very sensitive and emotional times, and is keen to develop his legal skills further as a solicitor.

Last Will and Testament
During a traumatic diagnosis, my husband needed to make his last Will and Testament very quickly. I phoned about 10 practices which would not come out to the hospital.
One phone call to Wollens and the solicitor was with my husband in about an hour and by 4pm it was signed and legal.

Efficient , knowledgeable and reasonably priced.
