Having no previous experience of the legal system, I was extremely shocked and distressed to receive contact from the police regarding an allegation from years in the past. I took the step of contacting Johnson Astills for representation, and this was the best decision I could have made. Lucy-Ann provided clear advice as to how to proceed during the initial interview, and in my subsequent consultation with Helen she provided a clear but realistic outline of the process and potential timelines. I consulted with a couple of staff before Lucy-Anne assisted my daughter and I with a false allegation that had been made against her. The ridiculous farce she'd been dragged into was dropped, however it was still an immensely stressful and anxiety provoking time. From start to finish, we received thorough and reassuring advice from staff, with a refreshingly clear understanding of neurodiversity and the communication difficulties that can also bring with it. Lucy-Anne and her colleagues already knew how to work in a way which adjusted to my daughter's needs and all concise advice was delivered with patience and in a manner which was respectful and informative. I cannot recommend this firm enough. It is evident from the beginning of any conversation, they are highly trained, experienced and knowledgeable in their specialism, passionate about what they do, and keen to assist in any way they can, which is precisely what you need when navigating any areas of legal matters.
