Disappointing Experience, No consideration

Very disappointing experience with Fraser Dawbarns. Having been assured that Danielle Wright could assist with our private client requirements, I pursued an appointment, particularly as the Ely office was convenient for my disabled mother, who undergoes regular dialysis. Despite clearly outlining our financial considerations, we were repeatedly referred to a more senior solicitor. I also found it difficult to reconcile Danielle’s advertised private client experience with the apparent need to refer relatively standard Will-planning and inheritance tax enquiries to a more senior colleague, without first properly clarifying our requirements. Ultimately, the entire process amounted to a considerable amount of time spent to no avail, having pursued an appointment for approximately a week and a half. The lack of consideration for our circumstances was particularly disappointing, especially given our genuine intention to instruct the firm. Unfortunately, the experience left us with little confidence to proceed.
