Sophie Button dealt with our sale. She did not respond to the few queries I raised by email, as if it was an inconvenience for her to do so; regarding the legal situation that arose under the title with covenants and easements , access to land etc , this was dealt with in a very muddled way and I thought she was out of her depth here , emailing chunks of text and not providing any explanation of the best way forward;in the end the matter was resolved in a practical way ; I found her confused about whether the title in the contract should be full or limited; she delayed exchange; not proactive or forward thinking.

Fantastic solicitors!
Having had an offer on a flat recently fall through with being let down by my previous solicitors firm, I was looking for a new conveyancer. A colleague recommended Peacocks to me because her daughter had used them to buy her property. She told me that the firm was very professional and extremely thorough, working in the interests of the client. I rang Peacocks and from that moment on, my experience was only positive! There were various issues to do with the property that were bumps along the way but my solicitor Sophie Button kept me informed at every single stage and always acted in my interests. No stone was left unturned and for that I am hugely grateful. As a first time buyer, the process was very daunting but Peacocks made it as smooth as possible.
