As the Director with business management focus at Hill Twine Solicitors, I am responsible for all practice management, including recruitment and compliance, and the financial side of the business. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to work within the Criminal Justice System and I am a qualified lawyer. I was Called to the Bar in 2005 and subsequently cross-qualified as a solicitor. I was admitted to the Roll in 2014. I joined HMCTS as a Legal Adviser in 2008, working there for 11 years. I started off working exclusively in Crime, dealing with both Adult and Youth Court work. During this time, I joined the Justices’ Clerk Society and was elected as a Council Member, with responsibility for Crime. In 2016 I was promoted to the role of Family Legal Team Manager for Dorset, Devon & Cornwall, responsible for the performance of the Lay Justices’ tier of the Family Court in all three counties. Whilst I enjoyed working in the Family jurisdiction I missed a life of Crime! I left HMCTS to join Hill Twine Solicitors at the beginning of 2020 and a return to the Criminal Justice System. Being appointed as Director in 2022 represents the most significant milestone in my legal career to date.

Sarah was fantastic

No improvements Sarah was fantastic. Could not have asked for better representation. Sarah was absolutely fantastic in every matter. I will not have anyone else representing me in the future. A quick Google search for the best firm in the area followed by a very informative phone call to the firm. The who process was very easy and then even took my holiday into consideration and did not contact me whilst I was away.
