JCP saved the day ... on the advice of my estate agent I initially engaged the services of a different solicitor but after a whole month not one single thing had happened despite me chasing a number of times. I then decided to switch to JCP who had already given me a brilliant conveyancing service back in 2022. The speed in which they turned all the initial paperwork around was incredible. Amazing service
My husband and I hired JCP's services to help us with the purchase of our first home. We were far from disappointed. We were assigned Victoria Holmes and Laura Winter who were both professional, approachable and efficient throughout the entire process; I was so grateful for their fast replies, and they answered every one of my questions (even the smaller/silly ones) with the utmost patience and dedication. They always seemed present in our case, and my husband and I felt that we were in great hands. Thank you so much!

Selling of property
Excellent could not find any fault. Both Laura and Victoria who we had the most dealing with were extremely helpfully and professional.

First Class Service
We recently used JCP solicitors for both selling our house and purchasing a new property. The service that we received was first class and we cannot fault it in any way.
Our contacts were Laura Winter and Victoria Holmes and between them they made the whole process stress free. Both were professional but approachable and always available to speak with on the phone. Also, all emails were promptly answered and we were kept up to date at all times.
We would definitely recommend using JCP solicitors and we won't hesitate to use them again.

Conveyancing
Laura managed the conveyancing with Victoria Holmes. This was not a simple exercise but required gentle pressure on the buyers and their lawyers to complete in a timely fashion whilst dealing with a (sometimes) impatience seller.

Professional service
Laura and her team did an excellent job navigating a challenging purchase. Whenever something was required from Laura, she handled it promptly and professionally.
One concern arose early in the process when sensitive documents, such as bank statements, were requested directly via email as attachment(s). It's important to note that Laura was not involved in this request, but I believe using email for such information poses security risks and could allow third-party access to your clients information.
That said, the documentation and letters I received were consistently professional and easy to understand. I also greatly appreciate Laura's persistence in pushing the purchase through, despite the seller's difficulties.
Overall, I'm impressed and would recommend Laura and her team to other buyers and sellers. I do suggest, however, that the company review its internal policies around handling sensitive information to enhance security.
