Katie initially joined Wollens as part of our conveyancing team in 2018, moving between New Build Conveyancing matters and her own caseload of Residential files. She has worked on transactions of all shapes, sizes and values. After a Covid-19 related delay, Katie began her Training Contract with the firm in November 2020. She is now enjoying her time in the Company/Commercial Team where she is eager to expand her knowledge and build on her academic foundations of commercial law. Katie has been able to focus on a number of areas in her time in the department, including:- -Share Sales and Purchases; -Business Asset Sales and Purchases; -Company Formations; -Charity Formations; -Partnership/shareholder agreements; -EMI schemes; and -Terms & Conditions. In 2021, Katie completed her Master's Degree (alongside her Legal Practice Course) around her full-time role as a trainee solicitor at Wollens. Katie steered her studies in a corporate/ commercial direction, opting to study elective modules of Mergers & Acquisitions and Commercial Property in her final year, together with writing her Practical Research Report on the long and short-term effects of the Covid-19 Pandemic on the acquisition of private limited companies in England and Wales. Katie graduated with a Masters of Law at Distinction grade. Katie will be rotating seats into our employment team and our commercial property team before qualifying in 2022. Problems solved speedily
Our buyer had issues during completion of the purchase of our house. The solution to what was their problem was provided by Gillian and Katie - not their solicitors. Response times were immediate and options clearly explained. We will have Wollens advise in the future and will happily recommend their services to others.

Impressive
Being new to the buying and selling process of moving homes, Wollens have made the whole experience quite painless. At all times we were made fully aware of the current situations on both buying and selling. We had previously heard of horror stories from others who used different solicitors but we can only advise on the good experience and service we have currently received throughout our move.
