We have used Lowick McKay solicitors several times for numerous house sales and purchases since the 1980s when we actually lived in Manchester. We have since moved around the country settling in Teesside for 27 years and have just completed on what will hopefully be our last move to North Yorkshire. Despite not living local to the Gatley office, we have always found Lowicks to be thoroughly professional and good at communicating about the status of our sales/purchases. The entire team, and in particular in our case Bernadette, have completed our sales/purchases within short time frames and have been efficient, supportive and reassuring throughout, especially when things haven’t always gone smoothly with other parties in the chains. If you’re looking for a good conveyancing solicitor I would highly recommend them.

My wife and I recently had our wills re-written by Bernadette at the above branch, we also had two LPA's drawn up for us both at the same time. Everything was dealt with in an extremely professional manner by Bernadette and in a very short space of time, plus we were kept informed of progress throughout by the administration staff. I would also like to add that the total charges were extremely more than reasonable in our opinion. Upon walking into the office from the street you are immediately met by two very pleasant ladies, plus there is also an air of calm professionalism from both that puts immediately you at ease. I have no problem whatsoever in recommending Lowick McKay Solicitors (Gatley) to anyone who wants either a Will or LPA service carried out at both a reasonable cost and in a professional manner.

As landlords we have used Lowick McKay three times now in just over ten years to either buy or sell our properties. We’re not fans of just online solicitors as we’ve done this in the past but much prefer if needed an actual office to call into whether it’s to drop documents off or a catch up on where everything is up to. We like the old school way not being passed around and waiting forever on a phone line to speak to a random solicitor to explain everything over again. Bernadette and the reception ladies are professional and helpful and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
