We have used Lowick McKay solicitors several times for numerous house sales and purchases since the 1980s when we actually lived in Manchester. We have since moved around the country settling in Teesside for 27 years and have just completed on what will hopefully be our last move to North Yorkshire. Despite not living local to the Gatley office, we have always found Lowicks to be thoroughly professional and good at communicating about the status of our sales/purchases. The entire team, and in particular in our case Bernadette, have completed our sales/purchases within short time frames and have been efficient, supportive and reassuring throughout, especially when things haven’t always gone smoothly with other parties in the chains. If you’re looking for a good conveyancing solicitor I would highly recommend them.

Commissioned Lowick McKay to create the Lasting Powers of Attorney for my wife and myself naming our two sons as trustees. Unfortunately Lowick McKay entered the wrong date of birth on the online application for one of my sons. Contacted them two weeks ago to discuss the issue created by their error and despite three phone calls and two emails nobody has as yet got back to me. Their fee was quite substantial so would expect some kind of response.

Aliyah is an excellent solicitor who dealt with the conveyancing of my new home in a professional & timely manner, delivering a high quality service with good & clear communication throughout. My wife and I recently had our wills re-written by Bernadette at the above branch, we also had two LPA's drawn up for us both at the same time. Everything was dealt with in an extremely professional manner by Bernadette and in a very short space of time, plus we were kept informed of progress throughout by the administration staff. I would also like to add that the total charges were extremely more than reasonable in our opinion.
