I instructed Anila and the team at Couchman Hanson to provide conveyancing on my property sale and purchase. Throughout the entire process I was kept updated at every stage. Furthermore, Anila and the team were always available to speak to, if I required. They were always 'on top' of every detail and any delay was swiftly addressed (crucially, no delays were down to the Couchman Hanson team). The critical quality in a conveyancing process is expectation management, and my expectations were managed at all times. This was through open, honest and accountable information sharing. Anila dealt with the purchase of our property and it was a pleasure dealing with her. We found her friendly, approachable, always quick to reply to any concerns/issues with expert advice as well as common sense and explaining things properly not just expecting you to understand legal terms. Anila was also very reassuring and definitely calmed our worries on several occasions. The venders solicitor and agent were not the nicest of people to deal with to say the least, however Anila dealt with any correspondences, which were many, in a calm professional manner. We would definitely recommend and work with Anila again.

Helen West handled two quite drawn out and complicated property sales for me over the past year, and she was excellent throughout. She was thorough, easy to deal with, and always really helpful and responsive. I always felt like she was 'only one phone call away'. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, even when things became more complex and tricky. I’ve been involved in property for over 20 years and worked with many solicitors, so I don’t say this lightly -Helen really stands out. She is a gem!

I cannot praise this company high enough. We've used Couchman Hanson for both conveyancing and litigation and both times they were fantastic. For Conveyancing, Nadine is an absolute star and a professional who goes that extra mile and always with a smile. I like the fact that Nadine will call us and explain things or update us rather than just send an email. She is our 'go to' person for conveyancing and I am just sorry it took 2 aborted purchases to then finally get one over the line - thank you Nadine so much for your patience and perseverance :-)

I've used Couchman Hanson a number of times over the last 10 years or so that I've lived in Hindhead. I have used for my personal and business needs, everything from wills and conveyancing through to producing legal contracts and service agreements. The team in Haslemere have always been friendly, prompt and responsive as well as giving clear advice and added value. I can't recommend them highly enough. When, like me you don't necessarily need a solicitor's firm often, it's great to have one on the doorstep that you can trust.

Varinder and Jim at Couchman Hanson Solicitors picked up the baton on a long running case that two previous law firms had failed to conclude. They made their assessment and came up with a strategy that quickly settled the matter. They demonstrated what a good, efficient and effective team they are, together with Charles the barrister.
