When it comes to selecting solicitor very often it is a pure lottery. We read some opinions on the internet and decided to go with Serjeant & Son. I suppose it was a good choice, although my experience is very limited. Before signing up we were clearly informed about the cost, predicted time length of the whole process and all the usual nitty-gritties. Throughout all the process we were kept informed, even when nothing happened and we just waited. Just to let us know they have not forgotten about us. Another good experience - our querries were answered very quickly, the same or very next day. Again, that's something which tells you that they are there for you.

I had no one to one contact with the person assigned to my case. A letter I received from her indicated that she was not taking the action I required, ie I want my partner added to house ownership, thus making us joint owners. Somehow the correspondence indicated that I was giving the whole ownership to my partner. Additionally I received mixed messages about identity proof, necessitating an additional journey from home to your office. I’m very disappointed as I wanted to use your practice but find myself having paid just under £240.00 for nothing.
