I have just bought my first house and was unlucky to receive a Solicitor called Rizwan, from start to finish I have been ignored, I have had no communication from him whatsoever unless he has wanted money from me, I am absolutely appalled with his service and would never use them again. I am still having teething problems with my first house and am still being ignored despite calling and emailing but I suppose he's had his money now so is happy to let a client struggle. They should be called Axis Unprofessional!!! A house with no chain took nearly 6 months to go through because of his lazy work ethic. Was also given a price of what we would have to pay them at the end and it was nearly double which again I find unacceptable.

First month was great communication, then we changed conveyancers, she was awful, barely any work was completed in the two months we were with her. We complained and was given another conveyancer. He started off great and quickly became non communicative or extremely limited- so we complained. We missed the deadline for the increase stamp duty- we were 6 months into process by that stage. We were then allocated an assistance conveyancer to help our conveyancer- and this seemed to have helped but it was still not clear on the steps taken. I would never use this company again. We completed around 8 months. The chain consisted of 4 people and it wasn’t a complicated chain. It’s a shame because we picked them as they had super good reviews. They did reduce our fee (we noticed at the end of billing) and we assume it is for the constant inconveniences we experienced. They also have a bill at the sale- basic errors on this and we had to inform them to correct it.

Not even able to answer the phone, can’t call individuals direct numbers or the main office number, as they simply do not answer the phone. Also extremely slow to respond to emails with poor communication and in constant need of chasing
Hi Jake, Due to the time sensitive nature of the work our conveyancers carry out for all our clients, they are not always immediately available by phone. We use the case management system, Hoowla, to allow you to see major milestones and progress but between these points there continues to be less visible work carried out. Unfortunately, when clients email, call and request Hoowla updates multiple times on the same day it can make prioritising responses more challenging. I apologise if we have not clearly set our communication standards to you and therefore not met with your own expectations, but progress and conduct of the file has been thorough and timely throughout the process thus far.
