Overall, the advice I got was correct, and in the end I got the outcome I was hoping for, in a lot of ways. However, I would have preferred some advice on how to resolve the situation quicker and better. I did not have any experience with my situation, and hoped the solicitor would be able to give some advice based on their experience of similar previous situations. The advice always seemed correct, but it was very much statements of law fact, whereas I was hoping for more strategic advice. However, perhaps I was expecting too much.
