Awful service by an incompetent previous solicitor Rosemary Wood who no longer works there. That person made life hell for almost 2 years dragging out the dealing with an estate / Will situation and in the end I took over and it was sorted within 5 or 6 months ! The Legal Ombudsman gave a phonecall today around a year later (about my complaint but they blamed the original Executors saying it was thier fault not hers! HILARIOUS! Don't bother complaining about anything to them ! Yes it was all sorted in the end but at the time this was extremely Stressful ! Good luck to Derbyshire Legal Services who have taken over the company ! I hope you employ some competent people unlike her !

Extremely poor service received by this Company. You have to constantly chase things up with them,and they charge high prices and then I had the cost reduced through 'errors' made and then they charged my Mother an even higher bill just for chasing things up again, of which they have charged my Mother for,and the bill is ludicrously high even more. Absolutely disgraceful. I had to correct spelling mistakes and correct information before letters went out to various parties of which we have been most likely charged for. A 10 minute telephone call is twenty pounds and an email works out the same price. Information is all messed up completely and incorrect. This has been our worse nightmare and experience with this Company. The invoice is totally incorrect and inaccurate,and extra has been added on to the invoice which we have never requested them to do for us or instructed them to do. To email them to close the file,they just keep billing you for emailing them to do this,and then they charge you for 'their' email back,and now they are charging my Mother for emails from the other parties 'Solicitors' which is absolutely outrageous. A caveat costs three pounds and yet they have charged a huge price for it,and even then I had to request the 16 digit Caveat number because they forgotten to give that important information. Honestly I feel that we have been dealing with 'Paralegals' instead of qualified Solicitors. It certainly has not been a Professional Service.

Horrendous experience. No response to emails or telephone calls. Took 11 months to finalise my brother's estate with very little communication. I definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone!

We recently sold and bought a new property with Lovedays handling the conveyancing, as an aside they also produced and hold our wills, and have dealt with many things in our behalf. However back to the point of our recent conveyancing, we are all in difficult times which throw up unusual things, despite this our conveyenser, Rachael Mellor not only dealt with these but with the many other things that made our particular purchase continuously changing, over four months , but took them in her stride. She worked relentlessly to make sure we got not just the house we wanted but protected our interests in every way. Rachael is the most dogmatic, professional person I have ever had the pleasure to deal with and strongly recommend to anyone looking for a conveyenser to handle a sale or purchase, engage Rachael, absolutely brilliant ! If I could give ten stars I would, Rachael you got us our life's dream, Thank you so much x David and Lesley Pearson
