      The conveyancing on my flat went well. My original solicitor had to go on maternity leave early but Lisa took over and finished the process. Although this took a little longer it was unavoidable.

      Ruined a sale and provided wrong advice

      Resulted in our flat sale failing. Did not respond to emails from us or from the other side for months. Misread documents ultimately losing us the sale after 10 months.

      We chose Eve Lake Conveyancing based on their positive reviews but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. Communication throughout the process was poor with little to no initiative from their side. We frequently had to chase for updates, along with our estate agent, which added unnecessary stress during what should have been a smooth process. Most concerning was a significant error in the contract, where the value of the property we were selling was recorded incorrectly. This could have led to serious issues had we not identified and raised it ourselves. The mistake was dismissed as a 'clerical error' which we found quite alarming given its potential impact. Overall, the lack of attention to detail and proactive communication made this a frustrating experience.
