On Nov 7th 2022, I e mailed Samuels asking about a Change of Name . almost 4 weeks later, and e mails not answered and several phone calls I recieve an e mail saying "sorry, I can't help as I am leaving the firm..." WHY could they not have told me that sooner? Complete waste of time and effort. Rubbish.

Contact with Laura Mather and her well informed team was excellent from the start. Quote for services was competitive and didn't carry too may exclusions that could typically add to the final bill. Correspondence was processed quickly and efficiently between the seller and the buyer's conveyancer.

Jan samuels handled a nehlegance litigation for me. He was approachable flexible in his approach and help achieve the goal in a timely expert and friendly manner. His rational approach to the most efficient way of dealing with things as well as his advice lead to a speady resolution.

The worst solicitors going IMHO. Completely and utterly messed up my housing disrepair claim so that it was killed off on a major procedural law jurisprudence which they did not see coming, duh! Not only that, letter sent out by them contained numerous factual, spelling and grammatical mistakes, despite the fact I corrected their draft. Plus they appear to have charged me for such "work", and even for considering my eventual complaint to them, etc. They even had the gall to write to me saying they were going to charge me to have the court take their name off a process of mine that they were not even named on as my solicitors in that process in the first place. Check their work! Check their lutters for spulling mestakes! Check their bills!

After 21 years running my business we had the unfortunate scenario of being taken to court over a fairly petty discrepancy, but one of which threatened both my time, finances and quite frankly my patience.
As the court hearing was to be billed in Barnstable, I simply searched on line for a solicitor (this was my first insight into having solicitor involvement) I came across Samuels, and called them.
I have dealt with Mark Cummings, he came on the line and was immediately helpful, articulate and incredibly honest and frank. I was in awe of his knowledge and understanding from only the scant amount of information I gave him, and the direction in which he guided us has been priceless.
He has been hugely patient with all the goings on, and I have a sense that we have not only found a professional company for any future unfortunate circumstances, we have found a friend in Mark that will always be someone we would immediately go to for help, advise over all our legal matters, a person we can trust and be advised by.
I can honestly say now that my solicitor is Samuels and my contact is Mark, I would absolutely recommend them.

Solicitors can often be frustrating, but these weren't and I would definitely use again. When it comes to conveyancing you need a solicitor that communicates and Jimmy was fantastic at picking up the phone with updates and to discuss issues. He was one step ahead of the other parties and didn't cause any delays. He helped me meet our desired moving date and proactively headed off any potential hiccups!
