Our previous Solicitors, Cornfield Law, had gone into liquidation and Cramp & Mullaney were the nominated company to assist with Wills that had previously been handled by Cornfield Law. We decided to use the services of Cramp & Mullaney and were very ably assisted by Rachel Shepherd. She made the whole process very easy to understand and to complete. Her knowledge meant that we did not have to re-write our Wills and she prepared a Codicil to cover our needs. Rachel was friendly, but professional, and put our minds at rest. We will definitely use them again in the future for any other matters that might arise.

I have used Cramp and Mullaney professional for a number of years and they have always been fantastic with our clients. When I recently purchased a residential property, I decided to use Jack Haffenden and his team. I couldn’t have been more pleased with this decision. Throughout the process everything was completed quickly and we were kept informed the entire time. We had a few anomalies in relation to the property being owned by a trust and the seller living abroad but Jack dealt with anything that came up without any problems. We used Cramp & Mullaney recently for conveyancing and will-writing. For the wills, Rachel listened carefully to our needs, gave us helpfully straightforward but unintrusive prompts to make sure we were satisfied we'd thought things through and then, when drafted, took us through the wills line by line to ensure we understood them. Great service. (A mix-up in the order of names to be signed on our Lasting Power of Attorney documents has made this process a little longer than it should have been, but the substance is all correct). On the conveyancing we had excellent advice from Jack. On the first occasion he brought to our attention some risks attached to the purchase of a property, pointing out the possible consequences when it came to resale. He avoided the annoying 'if I were you', and treated us with respect to make our own decision - which was to withdraw from the purchase with grateful thanks to Jack that he had spotted the issue and flagged it so clearly. On the second occasion he worked very well with us to explore some of the older and more obscure covenants attached to the property to ensure that we understood the real world implications. We have now completed the purchase with the title already registered by C&M for us. We would certainly use C&M again.
