Couldn’t recommend them more. Sarah helped us to support our brother, a disabled adult with autism, to create his lasting power of attorney. Sarah was compassionate and understanding of my brother and his needs. She took the time to make him feel comfortable, adjusted communication to best suit him, even down to asking where he would feel more comfortable having her sit in the meeting. He felt at ease with her and we as a family really appreciated her caring manner and approachable nature. Sarah have clear advice and always kept us updated with each step. The process was quick and explained well for us to understand each step.

Following the death of my husband, my solicitor arranged my new Will and guided me in setting up a Trust with an appropriate Letter of Wishes to protect the interests of a family member. As I live a long way from the law firm ,which I chose for its special expertise in family matters, we were able to meet via Zoom. This was a great help as the meeting included two family members who were to serve as trustees. Due to other pressures, I was often slow to answer letters and return documents, but my solicitor r was always patient, friendly and helpful. When I sent questions my solicitor always replied promptly and comprehensively. In addition to the required work she made suggestions regarding things that I had not thought of, which I found very helpful. All the staff who answered the phone were very friendly, calm and confident which is so important at the first point of contact. I consider that it was very good value for money and no extra charge was made for my extra questions and the length of time I took to complete my tasks.

Renaissance Legal Were the solicitors always recommended to us by the Special Needs schools my son attended as they understood the law around finances for disabled people. We made the first Trust for our son in 2017 then as many of our circumstances had changed we updated the Trust, our Wills and added on LPAs for us in 2024. If you're not a Solicitor then legalese is completely mind boggling so you need someone understanding in your corner to take that pressure off. The RL team are friendly and competent and answer e-mails in a timely fashion so queries are sorted fast. They still offer the option to have a face to face meeting for the initial consultation, which I far prefer over a Zoom call. I had complete confidence in the work they did and there is peace of mind knowing that there is a structure left behind for your loved one. RL will check up on us in 5 years or so to see if anything needs updating again.

Renaissance were recommended to me by previous solicitor, as she was leaving her old firm, Franklins, and they would no longer no longer able to give the sort of attention, particulary to the Trust, that I had set up for my disabled son. Renaissance was able to take over all my existing business including Wills, Trusts and POAs, and were diligent in the process. They have ket me up to date throughout the whole process.
