Kerri was very helpful in coming back to us quickly. She was clearly competent and experienced, evidenced by the fact that when our initial mortgage offer was pulled at the last minute, we were able to reorganise effectively. The only challenge (which is PLS policy to go through a switchboard and not Kerri) is that it was difficult to reach her by phone.
Worst company i have ever dealt with , no communication , had to send documents multiple times , estate agents and vendors solicitors could not get any replies from them Will never use them again Queried a charge for £315 for acting on behalf of the lender (Halifax) …to just be told it can be taken off with no explanation what it was , if i hadnt of questioned this they would have simply charged me an extra £315
I would avoid doing business with PLS Solicitors. I was doing a remortgage, so time was of the essence. I would have thought PLS Solicitors would have understood this. They took days to respond to emails and ask for documents that I had already sent. Their communication was extremely poor and have much to be desired. In the company, it seems that the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. Adding to all that, I was sent another client redemption statement. I can’t believe that I paid over £1000 for this service. I wouldn’t use them or recommend them to anyone.
A team of professionals who know their job. They got our mortgage through in a short period of time. They delivered the best news of the year to us a few minutes ago and were patient with us despite all the questions and calls they received.

Honestly , I was so worried because there was time limit.And I was referred to PLS where they didn’t have more reviews, But at the end I went with them and that was my best decision because the way I was guided through till the end was very clear. I didn’t have any knowledge about mortgage and Joulia my solicitor was so kind and calm when she explained things to me. of course there were other staff too who were so nice to me. I think, for me, the process was rather daunting. It could be for personal reasons as opposed to PLS Team's abilities. My husband and I were in the process of qualifying for a mortgage. It would be in my name as he is Swiss, not a British Citizen, and still earning USD as opposed to British Sterling. The process was long winded as we needed to prove where funds originated. I found it overwhelming, exhausting and times I was a little tearful. I am not really sure what the solution would be except, I guess, when it comes to legal work; you really need thick skin and strong bones. Absolutely take your vitamins and minerals.
PLS dealt with my re-mortgage, i highly recommend them, the process was as smooth as can be and the communication was brilliant from Mohammed.

Selecting PLS is the worst decision I have ever made. I used them for a property purchase in 2020 and that decision haunts me to this day - the issues I am now uncovering after 6 years and the lack of engagement to resolve them mean I cannot encourage others more strongly to use an alternative. Even the post completion team on the phones express their frustration at how slow the solicitor teams are to respond. Recently when I said to one that I had emailed the ResiFlexi team a couple of days ago with an urgent issue they said "there's no chance they will have looked at it yet". The irony of being called pls when they make you beg for any sort of response. I have made an official complaint to the compliance team and to add insult to injury the team on the phone won't even speak to me because of the mark on my account.

I wouldn’t recommend this company as they have hidden charges that they only bring to light once you’ve made your first payment, so then it feel like entrapment and when you try to call them directly to discuss they continually end your call so you can’t get through to them

Outright unprofessional shambolic bunch. We couldn't take anything they said for granted as they were so untrustworthy. Key steps missed which has cost us money. We complained and their own internal review agreed and even gave a us a discount (despite the review not being carried out when they said it would be- untrustworthy). Even with the discount we still feel very hard done by. Do not use.

We are coming to the final stage of the purchase of our house but overall PLS has proved to be unprofessional and bad service throughout the whole process. We always needed to chase them for response through the public platforms otherwise we were just left ignored and unanswered. Every time the reviews were left on Google or Trustpilot, they always came to argue about the truths of the reviews through emails and angry aggressive phone calls and we needed to provided the evidence to them saying that we were telling the truth and not just random complaints. Every time after they replied the previous unresolved issues which we pushed them to progress through Google and Trustpilot, they required us to delete the bad reviews. How ridiculous they are as solicitors. They never focused on helping customers but more concerned about public reviews.
Catherine supported me through a very difficult and delayed sale, and I’m genuinely grateful for everything she did. None of the delays were caused by PLS, yet Catherine remained consistently proactive, calm, and reassuring throughout the entire process. She kept me updated, explained every step clearly, and made sure I never felt left on my own with the issues that arose. Her professionalism, patience, and kindness made a stressful situation much easier to manage. I would absolutely recommend Catherine and PLS Solicitors to anyone needing reliable and supportive conveyancing.
