House Possession
I cannot fully express in words how grateful I am to MWG Solicitors Ltd., specifically to the professionalism and expertise of my solicitor Duncan Lanser, and the hard working assistance of Wendy Maguire. On the face of it the case should have been an easy one, seeking possession of my home from a tenant for considerable rent arrears, but the tenant took the decision to submit a spurious counterclaim, which led to the case being drawn out over many years. Duncan Lanser expertly and masterfully countered the many legal tricks the defendant and her solicitor tried to play, and when the case went to trial in early January 2025, the defendant's counterclaim was dismissed, she was ordered to pay me tens of thousands of pounds in rent arrears, she has the legal costs to pay, and she was informed to vacate the property by a specified date. As the tenant failed to leave the property on the date specified in the Court Order, I subsequently sought a Warrant of Possession, and, I am happy to say, this eviction order was executed by a Court Bailiff in March 2025. I cannot thank and praise Duncan Lanser, Wendy Maguire, and MWG Solicitors enough for their role in getting my house back for me.
