We used Footner and Ewing from the main southampton branch as it was my late father's solicitor. Awful communication from the solicitor, very unprofessional and quite blunt at times. We were dealing with a very stressful family situation while selling my father's property and the lack of empathy and consideration was awful. I would not recommend using this solicitor at all.

We used this company when selling a property recently and had 5 months of frustration and dissapointment. We had no chain on either side and communication between us and them was nil. Thank goodness we had an extremely good Estate Agent who continually chased them up. The solicitor for the Freeholder was in the same building but it was too much trouble to physically hand paperwork over. If time is of the essence. --- do not entertain using this company.
Bought and sold many properties thought I'd give a local firm my business this time...BIG mistake. Took 7 months to make an absolute abortion of a straight forward ( but made complicated) cash purchase. Severe lack of communication leading to long delays, mislaid documents on more than one occasion and furthermore Sarbjit adopted a childish, blameful ' for tat' unprofessional approach taking no responsibility throughout. Shameful! Don't do yourselves a disservice folks go elsewhere.
