Me and my partner have recently bought our first home and were very nervous about the legal process side of things specifically. However, all our concerns were put to bed in record time through Leah's exceptional communication from start to finish! She was always on the other end of the phone, replied to emails in great time and worked so hard things done as soon as possible! I can not recommend Leah enough and she is a credit to her profession!

Leah was incredibly responsive to emails and so on it. Our house sale went through so quickly and smoothly, thanks to her hard work

There are not enough superlatives to commend Leah Jakeman for her help, patience, understanding and most importantly her continuous hard work in dealing with both the sale and purchase of my properties. She is a fantastic asset to Apex Law who should truly be recognized as such! It has been a real privilege and pleasure working with her! I extend my best wishes to Leah for the future and would highly recommend her as she is simply brilliant in her occupation!

Thank you Doris for sharing your feedback. It is great to hear how much Leah supported you during both your sale and purchase. Her patience, dedication and hard work are a real credit to Apex Law. We truly appreciate your recommendation.
If i could leave 0 stars i would. Awful communication, they kept making mistakes but couldnt get them on the phone, extremely unprofessional and rude demeanour. Had my case transferred to another solicitor and it made no difference. I had no chain and completion still took 8 months because of them, my seller almost pulled out. I made a formal complaint with them in February and still have nothing from them. AVOID THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR MONEY.
please go through review and there is reason they have lots of 1 star ratings. Please do your own research to find a good solicitor and do not use them just because your estate agent has recommended them ! Not very responsive and the whole process is so stressful.
We required an I L A for a legal matter and as Apex have twice handled a property sale we asked them if they could help. The whole team, from receptionists to Mr Gozde himself dealt with our matter quickly and efficiently. SUE S
Absolutely appalling service from Apex Law. I would give 0 stars if I could. A straightforward no-chain purchase that should have taken around six weeks dragged on for SEVEN MONTHS, eventually requiring my mortgage offer to be extended and causing an enormous amount of completely unnecessary stress. The lack of communication was beyond unacceptable. Emails ignored, calls unanswered, voicemail full, vague updates and constantly being told we were “still waiting for enquiries” without clear explanations or updated reports. I felt like I was harassing them for basic information about the largest purchase of my life. I only spoke to my solicitor, Ismail Gozde, on the phone once in seven months. The final report was delayed without proper communication and, immediately after I complained, it was sent. He then went on two weeks’ annual leave. The ONLY reason this sale finally went through was because my mortgage advisor personally called my solicitor on his mobile and pushed him to complete the report. If I hadn’t repeatedly chased and complained, I genuinely believe I’d still be waiting. The seller and I actually had to work together to get information and move things along. At times, the seller was more helpful to me than my own solicitors. Then Alison Buss took over and, incredibly, I had more communication from her in THREE DAYS than I had received from Ismail in SEVEN MONTHS. This was the largest purchase of my life, yet I felt completely unsupported, anxious and like a burden every time I contacted them. It felt like a second job having to constantly chase the people I was paying to handle it. I paid Apex Law to manage my purchase, not to make me manage them. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I would never use Apex Law again. After my experience, I looked at previous reviews and was particularly concerned to find another recent review describing almost identical issues with Ismail — being impossible to reach, not responding to emails or calls and causing delays. Apex Law responded that they could not trace the reviewer as a client because they had not made a formal complaint. I will now be making my own formal complaint, so hopefully this time the issue can actually be addressed.
I've completed two house sale/purchase transactions with the Apex Bexleyheath office this year and have been very impressed. Speedy communication, choosing to get things done ahead of time, so that everything can move swiftly when needed. I recommend them.
Avoid Apex Law at all costs if you are selling a modern leasehold property. We instructed this firm on June 25th to handle the sale of our flat. They took our initial details, opened our case file, and even issued a draft contract pack to the buyer's solicitors on July 8th. At no point did they flag any issues. For nearly two months, we went back and forth with them, the estate agents, and our buyer—who spent hundreds of pounds out of pocket commissioning an independent RICS survey and securing a formal mortgage offer based on the timeline Apex Law was giving us.Then, in late August, they sent a cold email completely withdrawing from the case. Their excuse? The property is classed as a 'relevant building' under the Building Safety Act 2022, and their internal firm policy prevents them from handling these transactions. It took this firm nearly two months to realize the physical layout and height of the building they were actively representing. To wait until the absolute final stages of a transaction to inform clients that you lack the legal capacity or insurance to act is a shocking display of negligence. They have put our entire property sale at severe risk of collapsing. If you want a proactive, legally competent firm that actually understands modern property regulations before wasting two months of your life, look elsewhere
