Avoid like the plague

This is the most dishonest and untrustworthy solicitor that I have had the pleasure to come across. There incompetence is unmeasurable, the invoice is off the scale in cost. Do not use them!

Used this company twice, once when selling my shop, Which took 2 years to complete due to their incompetence, constantly telephoned them and the Secretary Famous for her catchphrase (hello John Copland And Sonnnnnns) No one is available at the moment I’ll get someone to phone you back. (No one ever did phone back )On the second occasion. they was dealing with my dads will, he passed away in March 2018 one year later they were still not capable of achieving probate.Telephoned on a number of occasions to the famous saying of (hello John Copland And sonnnnnnns)Again no ones available at the moment will get someone to phone you back. Again (no one never did)I then decided to ask for my paperwork back and go to another solicitor,I went there to collect my paperwork. Once there the secretary refused to give me the paperwork until she realised she was being recorded on video,on my I phone, she then gave me my paperwork straightaway. They charged me £900 for nothing (or should I say they stole £900 off me)I genuinely believe that the secretary should be sweeping up in McDonald’s and Tim and his wife should be flipping the burgers absolute thieves should not Be allowed to solicitor on peoples behalf,I then went to Tassells Solicitors In Faversham. It was a different grade,1st class everything was done and finished within 12 weeks, polite, Updated you constantly, when you Telephoned them You was able to speak to them straight away completely different experience absolutely brilliant serviceI (don’t use John copland &sons) if they’re local to you it is not worth it use a different solicitor do not use them they are terrible beyond belief,Tassells solicitors Was happy to pursue the case against John Copeland And Sons for the return of my money I did not pursue it any further As I was so stressed out with the whole experience

Terrible service.

I used this company to evict a tenant from my house. Quoted £2000-£2500. Never got an interim bill from them. They Kept asking for money for various things. At the end of the eviction they presented me with a bill for over £5500. I argued the bill and got it brought right down because they completely broke the rules and regulations of the law society and legal ombudsman. They gave me false information when I was complaining telling me the ombudsman wouldn’t entertain my complaint unless I had paid half their bill. Complete fabrication on their part.

If you are looking for a solicitor don’t use this firm. They are unreliable and completely overcharge you without your knowledge. Reading other reviews they seem to have a habit of overcharging clients and not keeping them informed of rising costs.

AVOID THESE PEOPLE LIKE THE PLAGUE.
