Stuart Goodbody has always been a marvellous "go to" fount of knowledge and always able to provide documents that I need - however long they have been archived. I would recommend him without hesitation. However i have no idea about the rest of the team, so unable to comment.

Helpful, friendly and professional

Apart from the initial consultation (via a video call), it was all done by phone and email. Language was not too jargon-filled but precise. Desmond kept on top of the case and provided regular appropriate updates.

The firm offers a wide range of expertise which I've much appreciated over a considerable period of time. Many difficult issues resulting in satisfactory outcomes. Their fees are well itemised and structured to provide the best service at the most reasonable cost.
Prompt attention is always given with thoughtful, detailed advice.

I felt very well looked after by Thomson, Snell & Passmore, and in particular my solicitor Flora Midgley. She was professional, but easy to understand and very nice to work with during a difficult time. I felt that the firm was fair and honest.

Exceptional

My solicitor Lawrence Hiller-Wood was absolutely brilliant throughout my complex and emotionally difficult Inheritance Act claim. From the initial consultation, where he listened carefully, and asked the right questions in a compassionate yet legally astute way (and was therefore able quickly to assess the situation and best approach) to the final successful outcome, Lawrence's professionalism, sharp legal mind, impressive knowledge and attention to detail, together with his caring, patient and respectful approach, not only in terms of my case but also our challenging circumstances, made the whole process far less of an ordeal than it otherwise would have been. He was also able to consult his colleagues in other departments when we needed specific advice, for example getting much needed guidance regarding complicated estate tax matters, and was also able to recommend a shortlist of excellent mediators when that was needed. I am extremely grateful to Lawrence and everyone at the firm of Thomson Snell & Passmore and would highly recommend him - and the firm - to anyone seeking legal representation.

As we all know, buying and selling property is a highly stressful business. But with Alastair Harvey fighting your corner, you know you are not only in the safest possible hands but in the speediest. His eye for detail is deeply reassuring, he responds to every inquiry instantly, is always ahead of the game and is completely charming to boot. If there were a Nobel prize for conveyancing, Alastair would be a laureate!
