We were very disappointed with the service we received. We were not kept updated with information / progress and were having to constantly chase. The whole process took just over 6 months. We would not recommend this practice to anyone unfortunately.

I have been using Solicitors Direct for a number of years now and honestly would never use anyone else for my legals now, I would highly recommend Alex Forrest and Jade Pendleton are both amazing Solicitors, who are very thorough and have your best interests at heart always, which is exactly what you need from a solicitor, this company is totally professional, as Is all their staff and always very helpful - 5 stars all round !

Mega!! Bold word to use but justified that I used Solicitors Direct on the purchase of my first house and again to move house. A long process all in all at no fault of the Solicitors directly but accommodations were friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. If I needed to chew Emma or Alex's ear about anything throughout the process they were nothing but friendly and happy to assist. I will 100% use them again in the future should I move house again and if anyone asks for any recommendations I will definitely put there names at the top of the recommendation list. Words honestly couldn't thank Emma and Alex enough for all there support and kindness over the last 14 months. Many thanks The Cartner Family
Poor communication throughout the process and made several errors that could’ve cost me money on conveyancing fees. The worst of it all was that they signed up to something on my behalf that I wasn’t made aware of. This meant my money was held up and not accessible to me which resulted in a financial loss.

First time buyer, purchased a house using solicitor direct. Everything was pretty much faultless. It’s a tedious job - I had very little knowledge in this area and had to ask a lot of questions. I was assigned a Solictor who worked my case and always got back to me. I’d happily use them again in the future and recommend them.

I went for certified copies of documents and they were very helpful and efficient
I was recommended this firm by a friend who used them years ago, but the service isn’t as expected. I have to frequently chase Alex and the invoice has increased by 50 percent and the location of the property on the map didn’t appear to be correct, which wasn’t mentioned in the report. An asbestos survey was not chased up for months and now the transaction is significantly delayed and costs are spiralling. I would not recommend this firm.
The job was completed efficiently within a three-month timeframe, which was positive. However, communication was poor; I had to follow up multiple times regarding important matters, and the team appeared complacent when contacted. I believe that without my involvement, the project would have been delayed by at least another month. This is not intended as a negative review—I wouldn’t necessarily recommend against using this firm, but I also wouldn’t explicitly endorse them. Considering the alternatives, this company may still be a safer choice compared to others in the market.
