Mohammed Arfan at Simply Legal has been a breath of fresh air throughout our conveyancing process. Clearly a highly experienced solicitor, at every turn he's offered solid and practical legal advice including proactively managing our case. Just as important, he's always been available to speak and respond to emails and clearly prides himself on providing a same day response to any queries we've had. My dealings with Simply Legal
Overall very disappointed/frustrated with Simply Legal. My initial contact for the purchase of our Apartment was with Lauran Callan who although polite and friendly displayed little urgency/ tenacity on our behalf - I made several telephone/written requests/enquiries , some of which were unanswered. Lauran subsequently handle the sale of our bungalow which was completed in March 2024. Although Completion of the Apartment took place on 10th November 2023 until very recently no Property Deeds were forthcoming - thanks only to the intervention of Nisha Gangar. Having found Nisha purely by chance, she has been excellent in all my dealings with her - very professional, polite/ friendly - ensuring we have been apprised of progress in a clear and patient manner. Nisha is a credit to Simply Legal.

She talked me through every step (as I had no idea what was doing) and worked all hours to get us to exchange and completion. Sameera definitely went above and beyond, we cannot thank her enough.

A tricky sale; it took a while to get there, but we did in the end. The solicitor who had acted for us when we bought the property (a London ex-Council flat) was out of his depth and had left issues unresolved that only came out when we sold it. Simply Legal are great. We dealt with several members of their staff along the way who were all very pleasant and helpful, but in the end they had to get the "Big Guns" out in the form of Sameera Yasin Fazal, a solicitor who I can only describe as outstanding. Put it this way: you'd much rather have her acting for you than against you!
